Plot Vastu Guide: 5 Things Every Buyer Must Read First

When you buy a plot, you aren't just buying soil; you are buying a piece of the Earth's energy grid. If the land itself has 'Doshas' (defects), even a Vastu-perfect house built on it will struggle to provide results.

1. The Slope of the Land

The Earth's energy flows from North-East to South-West. Therefore, your plot should ideally slope towards the North or East. A plot sloping towards the South or West causes financial leaks and health instability.

2. Soil Quality and History

Avoid plots that were previously used as cemeteries, crematoriums, or hospitals. The soil carries memory. Conduct a simple 'Pit Test': dig a 2x2 hole, fill it with water, and see how fast it drains. Slow drainage indicates healthy, 'fertile' energy (Dhanya Vastu).

3. The Surroundings (Veedhi Shoola)

Check for 'Spearing Roads'—roads that point directly at the plot like an arrow. While some (North-East spears) are good, most are destructive. Ensure there are no large shadows from nearby temples or skyscrapers falling on your plot between 9 AM and 3 PM.
